Demi-permanent color (like Matrix SoColor Sync) is gentler, ammonia-free, and deposits tone on tone without lifting the natural base, making it ideal for blending greys, refreshing lengths, or adding vibrant shine.

Matrix Cream Developer:
- 10 Vol (3%): For deposit or maximum 1 level of lift.
- 20 Vol (6%): Standard for 100% grey coverage and up to 2 levels of lift.
- 30 Vol (9%): For up to 3 levels of lift.
- 40 Vol (12%): For up to 4 levels of lift (typically with High-Lift series).

Note: For SoColor Sync (Demi-permanent), always use the dedicated Matrix 10 Vol (3%) Developer to ensure optimal color deposit and condition.

Matrix formulas are engineered with an uncomplicated and consistent mixing ratio across the portfolio:

• SoColor (Pre-Bonded Permanent): 1 : 1 ratio (e.g., 90ml color + 90ml Matrix Cream Developer).
• SoColor Sync (Demi-Permanent): 1 : 1 ratio (e.g., 90ml color + 90ml 10 Vol Matrix Developer).
• SoColor Ultra Blonde (High-Lift Series): 1 : 2 ratio (e.g., 90ml color + 180ml 30 Vol or 40 Vol Matrix Cream Developer).

Traditional permanent color uses ammonia to expand the cuticle for deep pigment lift and bold results.
